LOS ANGELES – On Wednesday, Vanessa Bryant announced the release date of a book that will honor the legacies of her late husband and daughter.
“Mamba and Mambacita Forever” will be released on August 19, 2025, which comes during Mamba Week, a week-long celebration dedicated to honoring Kobe Bryant. The week also includes Kobe Bryant Day and the late NBA icon’s heavenly birthday.

The book will highlight a selection of murals in their honor, Vanessa Bryant explained in an Instagram caption.

Vanessa Bryant authored the book while the photos were taken by Andy Bernstein.
In addition to keeping Kobe and Gigi’s legacies alive, Vanessa Bryant has been instrumental in philanthropic efforts on behalf of the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation.

Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, along with her teammates and their parents, were on their way to a basketball tournament when their helicopter crashed into the Santa Monica Mountains on what was a foggy morning in Los Angeles. There were no survivors.
