And according to The Mirror, City are keen to tie the youngster, who has just been recalled for England international duty, to extended terms. A new deal could be agreed in the new year.
Foden agreed a six-year deal worth £25.000-per-week in 2018, but the new deal could see his earnings shoot up to around £75,000-per-week, treble his current wage.
The midfielder will also be offered bonus clauses, including a £9,000 win bonus, and City’s hierarchy are confident that the 20-year-old will agree to the proposed terms.

It has been a positive start to the 2020-21 campaign for Foden, and his form has left England boss Gareth Southgate with no choice but to turn to the youngster for the games with Ireland, Belgium and Iceland.
Foden had missed out on previous squads due to a controversial episode in which he and Manchester United star Mason Greenwood broke Covid-19 protocols by inviting guests to the England team hotel while they were away in Iceland.
The pair were sent home but the 20-year-old has been given a chance to redeem himself by Southgate, as the national side prepare for next summer’s EURO 2020.

City take on Liverpool on Sunday in a crunch clash that could already have a big effect on the title race at this early stage of the season.
Guardiola’s side have endured a lacklustre start to the campaign and languish in 12th place, with a loss to Jurgen Klopp’s champions keeping them 12 points adrift of the Reds.
