McDonald’s customer pretending to be drunk in a drive-thru for a TikTok prank is blasted for mocking a ‘Karen’ manager who threatened to call cops
- A Kiwi man started slurring his words and declaring he hadn’t had any alcohol
- He and his passengers couldn’t contain their laughter as she told them to leave
- Said his name was Jeffrey Epstein – a billionaire sex offender who died in 2019
A man who pretended to be drunk at a McDonald’s drive-thru has been slammed online for mocking the manager when she threatened to call police.
‘Don’t be a Karen,’ the man said, pointing at the worker while clutching a coffee cup in one hand and collecting his McDonald’s order in the other.

‘I’m calling the police because you have had far too much to drink,’ the worker said from behind her face mask.
When the manager realised she was being recorded by the social media user’s passenger, she whipped her phone out and started filming him.
‘Just let me put my seat belt on,’ the driver laughed while accidentally losing his fake slur, putting his drink containers down to fasten his belt.
The passenger then moved the camera down to the car cup holders and discreetly filmed the driver’s can of non-alcoholic berry-flavoured sparkling water.

As the employee continued trying to tell him to leave the drive-thru, the Kiwi man amped up his drunken act.
‘Terribly sorry. I have had nothing to drink,’ he said, leaning out the window and pointing to her camera.
‘Absolutely nothing,’ he loudly proclaimed.
When she asked his name for her own recording, the driver said ‘Jeffry Epstein’ – a billionaire American financier and prolific child sex offender who died in jail in 2019.
The manager then slammed the service window shut, as the Kiwi told her to ‘have a good night’.
While the men in the video struggled to contain their laughter, social media users did not think the display was amusing. One user added: ‘You are in the wrong dude’ (pictured)
While the men in the video struggled to contain their laughter, social media users did not think the display was amusing.
‘She has every right to say that because you were acting drunk. She’s not a Karen, you were trying to make her think you were drunk driving,’ one woman wrote in the comments.
‘The whole country disagrees with you,’ another user wrote, but was corrected by someone else who wrote ‘world’.
One user added: ‘You are in the wrong dude.’
The user tried to defend his friend’s actions by uploading another video on Tuesday morning that showed the driver making his order moments beforehand.

The footage showed the driver juggling cash and a debit card as the cashier told him he needed to hand over an extra dollar.
‘This is part one to the video,’ the user wrote in the caption.
‘[McDonald’s staff] were being really difficult at the order menu so we busted the phone out. Also my friend driving was not drunk.’
But social media users slammed the video as ’embarrassing’, calling the men ‘immature’.
‘What a bunch of children. Yikes. Learn to grow up ya bunch of toddlers,’ one woman wrote.
Tik Tok included a warning on the video that read: ‘The action in this video could result in serious injury.’
