The person who hurled a can of White Claw at Texas Sen. Ted Cruz claimed he was hoping to toss a consume to the senator, and implied that he required the politician to chug the drink.
On Thursday, Joey Arcidiacono’s law firm issued a assertion outlining that Arcidiacono didn’t intend to start a political attack on Cruz.
“Instead, this was an Astros admirer attempting to toss drinks from his cooler to the Senator throughout a championship parade and not realizing how it would be perceived until he saw security’s response,” the statement explained.
