Manchester City defeated its visitors Newcastle United with two goals without a response, in the match that brought them together on Saturday, as part of the 15th round of the English Premier League football.
The two goals for City were signed by the German players Ilkay Gundogan and Spaniard Ferran Torres in the 14th and 55th minutes, respectively, of the age of the match that took place at the Al Ittihad Stadium.

Manchester City raised its score after this victory to 26 points, and advanced to fifth place in the Premier League table, pending the results of the rest of this round’s confrontations.
On the other hand, Newcastle United stopped at 18 points and is 12th on the league table.
