Manchester City qualified for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup by beating its host Swansea City 3-1 in the match that brought them together today, Wednesday, in the semi-finals.
The City hat-trick was scored by Kyle Walker, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus in the minutes 30, 47 and 50 respectively, while the home side’s only goal, Morgan Whitaker, scored in the 77th minute of the match.
According to “Opta” global statistics network, Manchester City has become the first English team to play in the “Premier League” to achieve 15 consecutive victories in all competitions.
