Manchester United and Real Madrid target Eduardo Camavinga ‘SACKS his agent to leave likes of Jorge Mendes and Jonathan Barnett scrambling for his signature’… as super-agents line up Rennes wonderkid to secure huge transfer in the coming months
- Eduardo Camavinga has cut ties with his agent Moussa Sissoko
- Super-agents such as Jorge Mendes and Jonathan Barnett are now circling
- The midfielder’s father will temporarily take charge of his son’s dealings
- Manchester United and Real Madrid are just two of Europe’s top clubs interested
The Spanish newspaper reports that the Rennes wonderkid has cut ties with his agent Moussa Sissoko, leaving the likes of Jorge Mendes and Jonathan Barnett circling.
Camavinga’s father Celestino will take charge of the midfielder’s dealings for now, with his Rennes contract set to expire in 2022 and the prospect of a new deal still up in the air.

The 18-year-old appears to have the world at his feet after bursting onto the scene last season, with Madrid earmarking him as a future Galactico alongside Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
Marca recently reported that United, Real and PSG were the three most likely destinations for Camavinga, with any potential suitor having to part with ‘at least £62million’ to sign the youngster.
‘The great clubs make me dream, but I cannot name one in particular for my future,’ he said in his first senior press conference last week.
With Camavinga’s stock rising among Europe’s elite, it is no surprise that football’s most high-profile agents are now desperate to sign him.

Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett is another desperate to secure the Frenchman’s services
Mendes, Barnett and Pini Zahavi are reported to be the three agents with the biggest chance of securing his services.
Mendes’s clients include Cristiano Ronaldo, while Barnett was named Forbes‘ most powerful sports agent last year and represents Gareth Bale among others.
Zahavi is perhaps less well-known but facilitated Neymar’s £200mil move from Barcelona to PSG and also managed Rio Ferdinand’s career.
Camavinga will have his pick of Europe’s top teams next summer, but he has not ruled out the possibility of staying at Rennes.
‘We’ll see,’ he said. ‘We haven’t set a date to discuss my future, I’m in no rush about it.
‘There will be negotiations to keep me here. It would be a pleasure for me to continue at Rennes.

‘I still have two years left on my contract and we have enough time to talk about it.’
The France international was unable to keep Rennes’ hopes of Champions League knockout qualification alive in their 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Camavinga started his side’s first game in the competition, a 1-1 draw with Krasnodar, but missed the following two defeats to Sevilla and Chelsea through injury.
He was back for the return clash against Chelsea at Roazhon Park but Olivier Giroud’s late header means the best the Ligue 1 outfit can hope for is Europa League.
