Mariachi music will be present at Icónica Sevilla Fest

Guadalajara, Jal.. The mariachi musican icon of Mexico and originally from Jalisco, will resonate once again in Europe, during the third edition of Iconic Seville Festone of the most renowned festivals in Spain.

The music festival will include in its program a Mariachi gala as a sign of the twinning of Icónica and the International Mariachi and Charrería Festival, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.

“This year we are going to dedicate the festival to Mexico, because there is a lot of unity between Guadalajara y Sevilla”, commented the director of Icónica Sevilla Fest, Javi Esteban.

The Gala, which will be presented by the international mariachi CHG and the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, will help promote Jalisco among European tourism, indicated, for her part, the head of the Jalisco Tourism Secretariat (Secturjal), Vanessa Pérez Lamas.

According to the president of the Guadalajara Chamber of Commerce, Raúl Uranga, the presentation of the Mariachi Gala in Seville and those that have previously been presented in Madrid, Shanghai, Chicago y Romahave the purpose of twinning Guadalajara tourist and commercially with those cities.

The Mariachi Gala in Seville will be presented on July 2 of this year in the Plaza España in the capital of Andalusia.
