A Tampa Bay man who has fathered children with his current wife, his lesbian ex-wife, and her new wife is opening up about their unique blended family – while one of the women hits back at suggestions that they are all ‘sister wives’.    Â
Josh Rappahahn, 37, was married to Jennifer Vazquez, 36, for five years, and together they had an 11-year-old son.
After they divorced, Josh married Danielle, 31, with whom he has a five-year-old daughter.
Jennifer got remarried, too — to Chantel, 30, who earlier this year gave birth to Josh’s biological son after he agreed to be sperm donor.
Unique story: A Tampa Bay man who has fathered children with three different women documents their blended family on TikTok — but they are ‘definitely not sister wives’
Making it work: Couple Josh and Danielle spend three or four days a week with couple Jennifer and Chantel coparentingÂ
The foursome — who are not a polyamorous couple, but two couples coparenting together — shared their story on an episode of the TLC show ‘You, Me, and My Ex’ in April.
In a clip from the show, Josh sat on a couch with the three women and explained their relationship.
‘This is my first baby mama,’ he said. ‘This is my second baby mama. And that is, hopefully, my third baby mama.’
‘We are definitely not sister wives, but my ex-husband’s sperm is in my wife,’ Jennifer added.
Josh and Jennifer were married first, welcoming now-11-year-old Jace together before divorcing after five years — but they stayed on good terms.
‘When you’re getting divorced from somebody, you don’t have to hate each other,’ Josh told the Tampa Bay Times. ‘Especially when there’s kids involved.’
Family: Josh and been married to Jennifer, who is now married to Chantel. Josh is now married to Danielle. They have three kids among them

Moving on: Jennifer went on to marry Chantel, and the whole group gets along quite well
In fact, Jennifer says they are still ‘best friends’ and text constantly.
After the split, Josh soon met Danielle, and the pair had their own child together, a five-year-old daughter named Mikaela.
Danielle and Jennifer got to know each other, and they became close friends as well.
‘I just feel like we’re kind of like sisters,’ Danielle said.
Meanwhile, Jennifer moved on, too — with Chantel, whom she married in 2017.
And when Jennifer and Chantel wanted to have a baby, they turned to Josh for help — and last year, Chantel got pregnant using Josh’s sperm.
‘There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help your family achieve one of their goals in life, Josh and Danielle told People.
‘We are forever grateful for Josh and Danielle to have decided to help make our dreams of growing our family come true,’ Jennifer and Chantel added. Â
A helping hand: Jennifer asked her ex Josh to be sperm donor when she and Chantel wanted to have a baby
Expanding: Earlier this year, Chantel gave birth to baby Camila (pictured with Jennifer)
‘A driving factor was getting our message to the world about co-parenting and raising your kids in a healthy environment,’ said Danielle
Despite the clear love and warmth in the group, though, there were initially some worries about what this would mean for the dynamic.
‘I do still have a little bit of a feeling that when the baby’s born, you know, your instinctual emotions might kick in and make you feel attached or emotional about the baby,’ Danielle told him on the TLC show before the baby’s birth.
‘I don’t think there’s going to be any emotional [attachment]. Like, I say this now, I don’t know. I’ve never done this before,’ he replied.
In April, Chantel gave birth to baby Camila.Â
On TLC, they stressed that despite his DNA, Josh is not Camila’s father — though he will have a ‘consistent influence’ in her life.Â
‘This is a new relationship for all of us so things could get a little sticky depending on the dynamic of the relationship with the baby,’ Danielle admitted.
As for what Camila will know about her parentage, the foursome said they intend to be honest all along — so it won’t be ‘weird’ for anyone.Â
Funny:Â On TikTok , Josh has shared several humorous videos where he points out his wife, his ex-wife, and his ex-wife’s wife
‘We just wanted to make it different for our kids. Because it wasn’t always easy for us, for sure,’ Danielle said
‘It takes a village to raise children,’ added Jennifer. ‘And this is our village’
‘We’ll give them the truth [and] say, “We used this person’s DNA to create you in a different way that other parents do,”‘ Chantel said.
While some sperm donors have limited to know relationship with the children they fathered, things are naturally different for this family, with Josh and his ex-wife Jennifer still coparenting their son.
Fortunately, all the women appear to get along quite well, and spent three to four days a week together.
In addition to having family dinners as a group, the adults have gone out without the children, shopped together, and swapped school pickup days.
