The Jordanian security services opened an investigation after a group of masked men stormed the headquarters of the Al-Faisaly Football Club on Saturday night and tried to reach the cup room.
A source inside the club told “Khaberni” website, that the masked men tried to deliver messages to the club’s management due to the negative results achieved by the team recently.
For his part, the president of the Al-Faisali club, Bakr Al-Adwan, confirmed that what happened yesterday, Saturday evening, inside the club’s headquarters, was an attempt by a group of people estimated at 30 to storm the cups and souvenirs hall at the club’s headquarters while carrying banners against the administration.
And the most prominent slogans made by the masked men inside the club, “Show the news of the will,” in a message about the will left by the former president of the Al-Faisali club, Sheikh Sultan Majed Al-Adwan, to continue caring for Al-Faisali club.
This, and the Jordanian General Security published a statement saying: “A report was received today (yesterday, Saturday) from the employees of the Al-Faisaly Club about a number of people gathering in front of the Al-Faisaly Club carrying slogans against the management, as they entered the club’s headquarters.”
The statement added, “There are no injuries or damages, and an investigation has been opened into the incident.”
