The Chicago Bulls have reached an “unsecured” deal with Matt Thomas to do the preseason with the team led by Billy Donovan, journalist Keith Smith reported.
Thomas, 27, arrives from the Utah Jazz where he ended last season after being traded from the Toronto Raptors on March 25. On Salt Lake City He played 19 official games with 3.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in just 7.1 minutes per day.
Prior to his landing in the NBA, trained for four years at Iowa State University, he was left out of the access positions to the 2017 Draft, so he had to carve out a hole in the basketball of Spain, wearing the colors of Obradoiro (2017-18) and Valencia Basket (2018-19). With the oranges he was champion of the Eurocup in 2019.
