“Now I’m interested in playing another character on a television series, because the last four years have been about culmination, writing, putting all these things together and devoting myself more to public service,” McConaughey explained. “The idea of acting in these types of roles, in the right movie or series at every moment sounds like an incredible vacation.”
“I will be a different or improved actor on my own merit after these last three years,” the “Dallas Buyers Club” star said, adding that his decision to step away from acting to focus on other projects has not “been in vain. “.
