Paris Saint-Germain striker, French international Kylian Mbappe, thanked coach Thomas Tuchel, after media reports spoke of the German coach’s dismissal from coaching the Parisian team.
“Unfortunately, this is football. We will not forget the time I spent here. I wrote an amazing part of the club’s history, and I would like to say thank you, coach,” Mbappe said through his account on “Instagram”, with the publication of a picture of him with the 47-year-old German coach.

Yesterday, Thursday, the French sports daily L’Equipe and the German magazine Bild confirmed that Tochel, who led Paris Saint-Germain to the Champions League final last August, before losing to Bayern Munich, had been dismissed, but the Parisian team did not issue any statement. Official so far, confirming or denying the dismissal of the German coach.
Tuchel was appointed coach of Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, and led him to the French League title twice, in addition to the domestic quartet in his second season.
Paris Saint-Germain is currently third in the French League with 35 points from 17 matches, one point behind leaders Olympique Lyonnais.
The French champion has also reached the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will face Barcelona.
