(Trends Wide Spanish) — Contrary to traditional belief, next Friday the 13th of January could be a lucky day for some lucky Mega Millions player.
The draw for this Tuesday the 10th was left without a winner and now the jackpot is estimated to be US$1.350 million dollars –some US$707.9 million if collected in cash–, the lottery said in a statement.
This would be the second largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, he added.
The only Mega Millions jackpot bigger than Friday’s estimated prize is the record $1.537 million, won in South Carolina on October 23, 2018.
The winning numbers this Tuesday were 7, 13, 14, 15 and 18, and the Mega Ball, 9. No ticket matched all six numbers, the lottery said.
“The jackpot is rolling again, keeping all Mega Millions fans on their toes for another drawing,” Pat McDonald, director of the Ohio Lottery, said in the statement.
There have been 25 drawings since the last jackpot was claimed in October, the lottery said.
