Meta chooses Mexican startup Leadsales for “The Future of Messaging”

The first CRM for WhatsApp in Mexico, Leadsales has been selected by Meta (formerly known as Facebook, Inc.) to participate in its acceleration program “The Future of Messaging” which, in collaboration with the Plug and Play business accelerator, seeks to help businesses connect, transact and serve their customer base through messaging.

The Mexican startup, which was born in June 2020 as a customizable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) organization tool for WhatsApp, focused on good follow-up of current and potential customers, as well as sales and support, is one of the 14 startups that are going transform the future of business messaging.

These 14 companies were selected from a pool of more than 2,000 companies globally. In this program, they will have access to personal meetings with corporate partners, with whom they will be able to discuss opportunities regarding pilot programs, new clients and investments.

In “The Future of Messaging,” Meta joined forces with Plug and Play to initiate an acceleration program to build and deploy solutions for more actionable and meaningful business practices, leveraging the business consultancy’s global business innovation platform.

This effort, which will also allow the construction of a new innovation center to help companies connect with their customers, arises because messaging and communication will continue to impact companies around the world.

And it is that, according to Meta, more than 1,000 million international users connect every week with different businesses through their messaging platforms, so it becomes relevant to provide more and better tools to make this interaction easy and efficient.

Leadsales, pioneer in CRM for WhatsApp

With the rise of conversational commerce in Mexico and Latin America, companies need to offer solutions that allow people to carry out their purchase process through a simple message. But, given the growing demand, not all companies are able to cope. That’s where the work of Leadsales comes in.

The startup emerged in June 2020 when Roberto Peñacastro and his brother, partners in a mobile bar and cocktail business, began having problems serving their customers through WhatsApp Business. “We realized that the solutions on the market were very expensive and slow, so we decided to start,” says the CEO of Leadsales.

This is how the software tool was born that allows several work teams, via the web or mobile app, to be aware of the same business WhatsApp, with the ease and speed that this platform offers in its web service. Leadsales also provides its users with a method of organizing chats by columns to ensure that everyone is served. It also gives you the option to schedule messages, add notes to conversations and get monthly statistics.

Today, the company led by Roberto Peñacastro has reached almost 1,000 clients in more than 20 countries, in addition to being recognized globally for its work, which precisely led it to be part of the companies that are part of the program ” The Future of Messaging”.
