(CNN Spanish) — The Mexican actress Rebecca Jones died this Wednesday at the age of 65, as confirmed by the agency that represented her in a statement shared on Twitter.
The actress “was accompanied at all times by her loved ones, she left in peace and with deep gratitude to her audience for whom she worked all her life,” it was indicated.
Jones was born in Mexico on May 21, 1957 and during her 40-year acting career she worked as an actress and producer in, among others, Cuna de Lobos, Días de combate and Amorosos fantasmas. Other productions by her include El Ángel Caído, Imperio De Cristal, La Vida En El Espejo, Para Volver A Amar, Pasión Prohibida and La Doña, according to Prensa Danna, the agency that represents her.
Her career began at least this 1982 until 2023. This year her last production as a leading actress was “Nothing to see”, a film directed by Kenya Marquez, in which Jones played Carolina, according to IMDB.
In addition, among his most notable series are HBO’s Señor Avila, La Casa De Las Flores and Quien Mató A Sara, the latter two with Netflix, according to his agency.
