Mexican Labor Conciliation Center has achieved 37,642 agreements: Concaem

Since it started its functions on October 3 of this year, the Labor Conciliation Center of the State of Mexico has reached 37,642 agreements and 1,476 million pesos have been delivered to workers, reported Gilberto Sauza MartinezPresident of the Mexican Council of Chambers and Business Associations (Concaem).

This Sunday, the state business leader explained that savings have been generated from this new center, since without the center these legal processes would have cost more than 2,000 million pesos.

Now, Sauza Martínez added, the new model allows a trial to take no more than a year and a half, as well as a cost of no more than 20,000 pesos. Before the Labor Reform, a trial could take between six and eight years to be resolved. , which implied economic expenses of at least 60,000 pesos for each of the parties, added to the fallen wages that it meant.

“The new model of labor justice that is applied in the State of Mexico has allowed two out of three conflicts to be resolved through conciliation, which translates into savings of time and resources by avoiding legal expenses of millions of pesos” , he claimed.
