Las Mexican stock exchanges They closed the negotiations this Friday with profits. The stock indices returned to positive territory, in line with the advances of their peers abroad, pending the announcement of the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve (Fed).

The leading S&P/BMV IPC index of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), made up of the 35 most traded stocks in the domestic market, rose 0.4% to 49,086.30 points. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Market (Biva), rose 0.46% to 1,025.90 units.

Within the benchmark index, most components ended the day in positive territory, with 23 components in green and 12 in red. The greatest advances were from Cemex, with 5.83%; Cuervo, with 4.94%, and Grupo Televisa, with 2.81 percent.

During the week, from a close of 47,120.08 units, last Friday, the S&P BMV IPC index accumulated a gain of 4.17 percent. The FTSE BIVA accumulation index added 4.26% in this period against a close of 983.98 points last Friday.
