The referential index S&P/BMV IPC from Mexican stock exchange (BMV), made up of the 35 most traded shares in the local market, fell 0.6% to 51,668.64 points. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Market (Biva), lost 0.51% to 1,080.47 points.

Within the reference index, most of the components closed the session in the red, with losses for 25 values and gains for 10. The worst performances were the shares of Industrias Peñoles, with 7.26%, and Orbia, with 4.10 percent.
