“We have to learn to play for 48 minutes, we compete for three quarters and then we let it go. We have to be able to finish these games,” Spurs guard Devin Vassell said.
With the win, the Heat are above .500 just months after reaching the Eastern Conference Finals.
“We want to move forward from here on, after a successful season, this shows how difficult it is to win. Nothing is guaranteed in this league, there’s a lot of parity,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said.
