Former US Vice President Mike Pence visited Israeli soldiers on the northern border and signed artillery shells that will be fired towards Lebanon.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported – yesterday, Friday – that Pence visited a group of soldiers on the border with Lebanon, during his visit to Tel Aviv.
She explained that Pence exchanged conversations with the soldiers and signed Israeli artillery shells.

During his conversation with the soldiers, Pence told them, “We appreciate what you are doing. I am no longer speaking on behalf of the American government, but I am speaking on behalf of the American people. We stand by your side and will continue to do so.”
The United States faces many criticisms because of its unconditional support for the Israeli occupation in the war it is waging against Gaza.
