Military expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi said that the scenes broadcast by the Izz al-Din Brigades Al-Qassam The armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) to target Israeli occupation soldiers in the Beit Hanoun area in Gaza strip It reflects that its perpetrators have undergone advanced training, stressing that its impact will be “terrifying” on the Israeli people.
The Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast video clips targeting Israeli soldiers in the Beit Hanoun area, one of which showed the targeting of a force of occupation soldiers holed up in a house with an anti-fortified Al-Yassin shell, and another showed Al-Qassam fighters managing to snipe two Israeli soldiers and 4 other soldiers trying to withdraw them after they were confirmed wounded.
Al-Duwairi predicted, in an analysis by Al-Jazeera, that the Israeli force targeted by Al-Qassam in one of the houses had been completely eliminated, as the clip showed the explosion of the Al-Yassin shell inside the building in which the soldiers appeared.
He pointed out that these scenes clearly show that the landowner has the upper hand in the battle, due to his advantage of knowing the details of the area, and his ability to position himself in places from which he can surprise the other party, who in turn is ignorant of the area and its various details.
But the military expert pointed out at the same time that the resistance fighter is “the one with the one chance.” He is among the dead if his missile does not hit its target the first time, because there are supporting forces from the occupation that will quickly monitor his location and target him.
Al-Duwairi explained that these clips also demonstrated the efficiency of the Qassam Brigades in harmonious teamwork, and their reliance on RPG shells in their various shapes and classifications, some of which had local improvements made through reverse engineering.
He added that these qualitative operations did not come out of nowhere, but rather indicate that the implementing personnel underwent advanced and sophisticated training that lasted for years, during which multiple skills were combined, and they also conducted prior experiments in order to be able to carry out these professional operations.
Al-Duwairi stressed that the psychological impact of publishing these clips on the Israeli people will be “terrifying,” given that they are known to be a people who have lived 70 years of absolute luxury and security, in addition to their great love for life, in contrast to the doctrine of resistance fighters based on considering “martyrdom” the highest aspiration.
Regarding the operation revealed by Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades – which included finishing off a special force stationed in a building in Beit Hanoun – Al-Duwairi expected that it took place through a joint operation of more than one group, due to its nature, which included firing 12 shells and targeting soldiers with machine guns.
He added that it is also expected that the operation was based on precise intelligence work in which a group carried out surveillance and monitoring, then other groups infiltrated the site where that special force was located, after which the targeting process took place in a sudden and confusing manner for the enemy.
The military expert stresses that surprise is the secret to the success of such operations, in light of a feeling of comfort and reassurance on the part of the occupation soldiers after announcing the imposition of control over the areas where these operations take place, such as the Beit Hanoun area.
Despite the clips published by the Al-Qassam military media of various operations, Al-Duwairi confirms that they are a miniature picture of what is taking place and do not include all operations, as it is not possible to imagine the ability to film all the operations that take place in the various areas of the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out in this context that what was shown recently took place mostly in the areas over which the Israeli occupation army claims full control, and therefore they are low-level clash areas, while Al-Qassam did not show video clips from the real clashes areas, which confirms that these clips do not include All operations.
Al-Duwairi pointed out that with Abu Ubaida’s announcement of the destruction of 62 vehicles during the last four days, this means that the number of vehicles out of service has reached 222, which means the destruction of more than one Israeli brigade and the number of dead and wounded among the ranks of the occupation exceeded 1,100 officers and conscripts.
The military expert added, “If the war stops now, Hamas will be the victor, and Benjamin Netanyahu will not dare to declare otherwise, and he will be taken to prison. Therefore, he is keen to prolong the fighting for as long as possible despite the dangers of doing so and the increasing pressure in this regard.”
