Rahima Mutamia, 25, was crowned Miss England last August, in a spectacular ceremony in Coventry and will now represent England at the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
Rahima has been awarded the sparkling crown – along with £2,000, Rahima is set to travel to Puerto Rico in late November, with the winner to be announced on December 16.

It is reported that Rahima Mutamia spent part of her childhood in Kenya before moving to England and studying at the University of Sussex, where she studied in health technology, and she can speak 4 languages fluently.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, she said, “My family supports me a lot and I cannot ignore their role in supporting me… as well as the Kenyan community that stood behind me and supported me until they saw part of their heritage in an international competition of this magnitude.”

She also revealed how being in an abusive relationship helped her become stronger as a woman, saying, “I would say the hardest experience I’ve had in life is that I’ve had an abusive relationship and it’s not something people talk about much about, but it helped me learn more about myself.”.”
