Egyptian star Mohamed Salah stated that he wanted to stay with the English football team, Liverpool, for the longest possible period after talking about the possibility of his departure.
“I really don’t know. If you asked me, I said before that I want to stay in Liverpool for as long as possible, but the matter is in the hands of the club,” Salah said in statements to the Norwegian TV site.
He added: “I always give a hundred percent of my abilities and I will continue to give everything I have to this club until the last minute for me with Liverpool, I want to do it for the sake of those who have given me love.”
And he added about the team’s injuries and the draw with Manchester United: “Of course, the injuries affected us. We lost some great players in several positions, such as Van Dyck, Gomez and Geota, but everyone gave their all.”
He continued: “The conditions would have been better if everyone was present, but we do not complain. We have some young people who are doing their best. We have to deal with the current situation and continue to work.”
He ended his remarks by talking about the fans: “The Anfield stadium is very difficult and the fans that appear here give us the difference, and the most important thing for us is the health of everyone. We do regular checks but we miss the fans, whether at our stadium or outside it, so let’s hope that things will improve soon.
Last December, Salah spoke to the Spanish newspaper “AS” about his desire to “break all records” for “the Reds” after three and a half years with him, and signed a long-term contract in the summer of 2018, after a great start in “Anfield”, where he scored 44 goals. .
