In a series of tweets published on his official Twitter account, the ruler of Dubai said that the Dubai Council approved a set of structural decisions, among them the formation of 3 chambers of commerce for the emirate, which are the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Dubai Chamber of Global Trade and the Dubai Chamber for the Digital Economy, adding that “the work system will be changed.” In the chambers, to be the most important economic arm of the emirate in building new sectors and consolidating its global commercial role. “
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid appointed the Emirati businessman, Jumah Al Majid, as Honorary President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Abdulaziz Al Ghurair as Chairman of the Chamber, Sultan bin Sulayem as Chairman of the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce, and Omar Al Olama as Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

He also added that Dubai aims to increase the volume of foreign trade exchange from 381 billion dollars to more than 544 billion dollars, in addition to expanding the city’s sea and air lines to include 200 new cities around the year in addition to the 400 cities it currently contains.
As part of the new restructuring plan, the emirate will impose “the signing of binding work contracts with all emirate officials, directors, directors of its departments, agencies and institutions, for a period of 3 years, in which the outputs, remuneration, and accountability mechanism are specified.”
