Monreal denounces Layda Sansores for espionage

Senator Ricardo Monreal Ávila denounced before the General Prosecutor of the Republic (FGR) to his party colleague and governor of Campeche, Layda Sansoresfor the commission of the alleged crimes of “intervention and dissemination of private conversations and embezzlement”, according to a press release released by the senator’s team.

Monreal Ávila based his complaint on messages “published on October 23 and November 1, 2022 on various social networks, as well as on October 25, 2022 in the program ‘Martes del Jaguar'”, a live video transmission starring the governor Sensors and in which he has spread, among other things, supposed messages and telephone conversations of the PRI leader, deputy Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas.

The illegal intervention of private communications, as well as the manipulation, editing, publication and dissemination through official social networks (Youtube, Twitter, Facebook) are claimed by criminal means, ”reads the Monreal Ávila statement.

On Monday, Senator Monreal Ávila, from the same party as Sansores and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, obtained an injunction against the dissemination of other messages from Governor Sansores that involve him and for the elimination “of the internet and social networks ” of the publications cause for annoyance.

These publications, the statement reads, “are false, lacking truthfulness, objectivity and impartiality, in addition to the fact that with their use the authorities act illegally, exceeding their powers.”
