Montenegrin Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokabic thanked Russia for the supplies of the “Sputnik V” vaccine against the Coronavirus.
According to a statement by the Montenegrin government, Krivokabic met on Friday with the Russian ambassador to the country, Vladislav Maslenikov, and indicated during the meeting that the arrival of the Russian vaccine “gives hope to all Montenegrin citizens.”

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the vaccination campaign for the tourism sector in Montenegro, considering that the Russian vaccine will allow preparations for the summer tourism season.
On Thursday, the first batch of Sputnik V vaccine, provided by Russia, arrived in Montenegro.
Before that, the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccination campaign was launched in Montenegro, which Serbia provided to the country.
