The Institute of Public Health in Montenegro announced the need for mass vaccination with the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine, which was supplied to the country from Serbia.
The institute described the start of vaccination on Saturday as “the most important stage in the fight against the pandemic.”

On February 17, Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabic delivered two thousand doses of “Sputnik V” vaccine to Montenegro, after the health authorities in this country agreed to use the Russian vaccine.
The Ministry of Health in Montenegro stated that the country is holding talks with the Russian government and the Russian Gamalia Center regarding the supply of the “Sputnik V” vaccine directly from Russia.
