WEST VIRGINIA (WCHS) — As winter weather continues to impact the region, the West Virginia Department of Education has announced multiple school closures:

• Grant
• Greenbrier
• Hampshire
• Hancock
• Hardy
• Harrison
• Jackson
• Jefferson
• Kanawha
• Lewis
• Logan
• Marion
• Marshall
• Mason
• McDowell
• Mercer
• Mineral
• Monongalia
• Monroe
• Morgan
• Nicholas
• Ohio
• Pendleton
• Pleasants
• Preston
• Putnam
• Raleigh
• Randolph
• Ritchie
• Roane
• Summers
• Taylor
• Tucker
• Tyler
• Upshur
• Wayne
• Webster
• Wetzel
• Wirt
• Wood
• Wyoming

The DOE announced non-traditional learning days for Cabell, Clay, Lincoln, Mingo and Pocahontas counties.

In addition, Marshall University and West Virginia State University will be closed on Tuesday.

In Morgantown, West Virginia University will operate on a delay with campus opening at noon.
