German airline Lufthansa has extended the suspension of all flights to Tel Aviv AndTehran AndBeirut AndOman AndErbil Until August 13, amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
The German company said in a statement on Wednesday that “based on the company's current security analysis, the Lufthansa Group is once again adjusting its services to the Middle East.”
Channel 12 Israel said that a number of Western companies preceded Lufthansa in suspending their flights to Israel until the 13th of this month, including Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Swiss International Air Lines.
In the same context, the French airline Air France announced yesterday, Tuesday, the cancellation of its flights between Paris and Beirut until the eighth of this month, and said in a statement that “the resumption of operations will be subject to a new assessment of the internal situation.”
