Morena promises to make real estate income transparent after sanction by the INE

After Morena was fined for not disclosing information about her offices on Ejercito Nacional street, number 359, by the INE, the national president of this party, Mario Delgado, stated that they would make the information public.

In a press conference, the Morenista leader assured that his party has nothing to hide, since all the expenses they make are audited.

Similarly, Delgado criticized that it was not disclosed that, last year, Morena returned 800 million pesos and assured that the party does not depend on resources, since they have many militants who help spread their messages.

“In Morena, money has never been depended on to do politics,” commented the national president.

In addition, he said that the Morenoites disagree that resources are “wasted” in politics.

Also, he expressed that the opposition has not wanted to accompany them in the reform in the constitutional reform to remove half of the prerogative of the political parties.

“The parties approved a reform… that guarantees that, no matter what happens with the economy, the parties will have more and more resources.

“And we have committed ourselves, personally, I introduced the constitutional reform twice to reduce resources by half; but it has not been approved,” said the brunette.

Mario Delgado pointed out that, in December 2021, the INE did not accept a budget return that Morena tried to make.

“I went with my check, in December of last year, and the INE did not accept it from us.”

The national president of Morena assured that this refusal was due to an internal disposition among the directors, not to receive the money.

The National Electoral Institute (INE) sanctioned the official party for refusing to make information from its offices transparent. The Ministry of Finance of the political institute reserved the information regarding the purchase or rental of the property.

As a result, a fine of 1,500 UMAS (Measurement and Updating Unit) was imposed.
