Morena rejects using public resources to bring people to the AMLO march

The national president of Morena, Mario Delgado, expressed that despite the mobilization of militants from all over the country to the march of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the party did not invest in bringing people, but they did help to spread the message in their social networks so that the call would reach more people.

“People organized themselves, we gave them some recommendations that worked, I must say,” he said.

In addition, he commented that people “already know it” because it is not the first time they have mobilized, but rather it is a technique that they have already performed for years.

Offenses for irregularities

On the other hand, Delgado asserted that the fine of 465.4 million pesos that the party will receive, from the National Electoral Institute, for not declaring its expenses and donations from citizens during 2021, responds to reprisals for the electoral reform that his party has supported.

Yesterday El Economista published that the electoral body plans to fine national parties for irregularities in their spending for 903 million pesos. Morena groups 51 percent.

After being asked, at a press conference, Mario Delgado stated that the INE is acting “like a gang of criminals headed by Ciro Murayama.”

The Morenista leader accused that the authorities change the rules when the budget has already been exercised and that causes fines.

“They bring out new rules that make us lack in some verifications, in some procedures that we have to do before the electoral authority. You know that the new political persecution has been disguised as control, so there is no way to defend yourself.

“They give you a fine because they say (in the INE) ‘ah, now the rule is that this transfer is not allowed and look at all the ones you made’, so take it with 10% of what you did and it is Ciro Murayama who leads this and unfortunately there are no directors who have the commitment to respect a legality, ”said the leader.
