Nagarro will invest 10 million dollars to expand its operations in Nuevo León

Monterrey, NL. Nagarro, a global company specializing in information technology (IT) and digital engineering, will create 500 new jobs high quality by investing 10 million dollars to expand its presence in Nuevo León.

Sandeep Anand, vice president and head of the Nagarro Business Unit, commented that he feels very encouraged by the presence and all the support he has received from the state government.

“Our entry into Mexico was in Nuevo León, it was the first step. We are a young companyof the new generation, we are happy because the solution we bring, in 2022 had a very rapid growth in digital engineering, we grew more than 65%y We are entering the group of millionaire companies”, said the manager.

“What I see in Monterrey is a great appetite for growth and their confidence to move forward. Our roots are in Silicon Valley, and in India, but we have decided not to be local but a global company with good IT designers and we spread out in 33 countries delivering various solutions,” Anand said.

During the announcement of the new investment, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda said that a study they did revealed that 50% of the nearshoring that arrives in the country choose the state.

“In Mexico, 50 percent of the ‘nearshoring’ came to Nuevo León. Bounty times are coming for Nuevo León never seen before, an economic boom is coming that we are going to lack hands to get all the infrastructure up and running, all the projects that are going to be required”, highlighted the president.

The most important thing, he said, is that Nuevo León has people for that economic boom, the educational level, the quality of life.

He deepened that the human capital speaks two or three languages, and has enough talent in engineering, and specialists in tinformation technologies, and in artificial intelligence“We have an ad hoc society to receive companies like Nagarro”.

He commented that before this arrival of ‘nearshoring’, the state has a lot to offer such as its universities, technologies, manufacturing, highways and Colombia Customs.

“We are doing everything that is conducive in terms of mobility: roads, Metro, trains; In terms of security, we are going to shield Nuevo León and today the United States has us at a green light; That is the best traffic light for investment, we also have to be resilient and sustainable, ”he said.

“Imagine the growth that Nuevo León is going to have with this boom, so we have to put a lot of effort into water, air, housing, and public spaces,” he added.

The government of Nuevo León estimates that in 2022 a Foreign Direct Investment of 4,397 million dollarswhich represents 9.2% more compared to the previous year.

Likewise, the information technology and software sector last year represented 6% of the foreign investment that arrived in Nuevo León.
