The US website “The Hill” reported that it had recovered the podium of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, which was stolen by a Capitol intruder last week.
“ABC News” reported that the platform, estimated to be worth about $ 1,000, was seen on Wednesday as it was being transported inside one of the halls of the Capitol.
The police arrested Adam Christian Johnson (36 years), who was seen carrying the platform during the storming incident.
Johnson was held in a local prison in Pinellas County, Florida, before being released on bail of $ 25,000 until his trial on January 19.
