Italian club Napoli confirmed in an official statement today, Tuesday, that their 29-year-old Greek defender Costas Manolas suffers from a first-degree muscle injury.
Manolas was replaced 15 minutes after the start of the match, in which Napoli won 2-1 at Udinese in the 17th round of “Calcio” yesterday.
The club said in its statement: “Manolas, who was replaced a quarter of an hour after the start of Sunday’s match against Udinese, underwent medical tests in the club’s clinics, which showed that he had suffered a first-degree injury in the right external occlusive muscle.”
