NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in a tweet at the end of a working dinner with European Council President Charles Michel on the eve of Biden’s inauguration: “We look forward to working with President-elect Joe Biden to strengthen ties between the United States and Europe at a time when we are facing global challenges that no party can face alone.” .
Biden will formally take office at the inauguration on Wednesday 20 January.
