Draymond Green ‘agrees huge four-year, $100million deal to return to the Golden State Warriors’… taking four-time NBA champ through to age 37
Draymond Green will be staying with the Golden State Warriors after agreeing to a new $100million, four-year deal, it has been reported.
The four-time NBA champion declined his $27.5million player option last week, but has since agreed a lucrative new contract that will take him through until the age of 37.
It also paves the way for Green to retire with the Warriors after playing his entire career with the team, having been drafted No 35 overall in 2012.
He won titles with the team in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022, and is a four-time All-Star.
Green’s deal was brokered by CEO of Klutch Sports, Rich Paul, agent to the stars and the boyfriend of superstar singer Adele.

The power forward has been an integral member of the greatest run in Warriors franchise history, helping Steph Curry and Co. deliver four titles to the Bay Area.
Throughout his 11 seasons with Golden State, Green has been both a lightning rod, and occasional detracting force.
While his impact on the team has been far more positive than otherwise, his passion did inflict varying degrees of damage on Steve Kerr’s men.
Infamously, Green was suspended for Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals wherein the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Most recently, he knocked out teammate Jordan Poole prior to the 2022-23 season which sent shockwaves through the organization and NBA world.
Green was also the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2017. That season, he also led the league in steals.

He and the Warriors were bundled out of the most recent NBA playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers in six games during the Western Conference semi-finals.
On Thursday night, Green was in Las Vegas supporting his teammates Curry and Klay Thompson ‘The Match’ against NFL stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
Ever the entertainer, he entered into a $10,000 charity bet with Von Miller that the NBA stars would come out on top over their football rivals – but he was forced to pay up when that wasn’t the case.
During the event, he joked he was ‘hoping for a new contract in a couple days’ – something which has now seemingly become reality.
