Nikola Jokic this Thursday became the first player in NBA history in achieving 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a single season.
The Nuggets star achieved this record in his team’s victory over the Memphis Grizzlies 122-109.
The Serbian pvot, MVP last season, signed an enormous performance with 35 points (16 of 24 shooting), 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and a block.
The Nuggets skip the ‘play-in’ and are already qualified for the ‘playoffs’
With this victory, the Nuggets secured a direct spot in the West NBA playoffs without having to go through the play-in.
They are now sixth in the West (48-33), but still have a chance to overtake the Utah Jazz (fifth at 48-32).
