Ehe duel between the Miami Heat and the Portland Trail Blazers that ended up falling on the side of Florida left some of the most tense moments of the season in the NBA. Especially for Erik Spoelstra’s team that saw two of their players get sent off during the match.
The first to head down the locker room path was Kyle Lowry. The point guard had them with the refereeing trio and already in the first quarter he was punished with a technique for protesting a decision of the referees, but everything exploded just before the break when he threw the ball against one of the referees for a foul on Nurkic and ended up expelled.
The second player sent off was Tyler Herro, although in his case he was not alone. He was accompanied by Jusuf Nurkic, center of the Blazers, with whom he starred in the fight of the night when the Heat guard pushed the Bosnian and he responded by releasing a blow that did not connect with the body of his rival. At that moment all the players on the court went to separate Herro and Nurkic, who ended up being sent off with 59 seconds remaining in the clash.
