Jaxson Hayessecond-year player for the New Orleans Pelicans that competes directly with the Spanish Willy Hernangmez for a position in the inner rotation of the Louisiana team, he has become one of the last ‘enfant terribles’ in the NBA due to his continuous off-sports problems.
The last summer player 2.11 was hospitalized and arrested after being involved in a fight with the police, whom he tried to prevent from entering a private party. At that moment, the Pelicans player stirred violently and began a strong argument with the agents who ended with the player in handcuffs and with a lawsuit filed against him.
Now it’s been his ex girlfriend Sofia Jamora which has gone to court to denounce Hayes against whom charges her with “assault and battery”. According to the complaint filed, the model denounces an episode of violence in which the player chased her around the house, grabbed her multiple times “and dragged her down a staircase”. She says that she got mad and started smashing everything she had on hand.
In another section of the complaint, Jamora refers to an incident at a Dallas hotel in which Hayes hit her with a suitcase and broke the bathroom door when he was trying to take the phone out of her hands. And on another occasion, the model assures that Hayes, “passed out due to drugs”, even threatened to call her cousin to rape her.
At the moment neither the NBA nor the New Orleans Pelicans have ruled on the new complaint against Jaxson Hayes, who has also been sued for harassment by Jamora the same day he had his altercation with the Los Angeles police.
It is just one more chapter in Hayes’s history, who already in his first year in the NBA left signs of his character, when he exploded against the league for leaving him out of the rookie game on All Star weekend: “This That’s all I’m going to say on the subject, bro. Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, they should have.’ Yeah, they should have, but they didn’t. The NBA is a load of shit. They can really suck my p.. . I hope you guys see this.” A message for which hours later he apologized.
