LeBron James was the great protagonist of the night in the NBA. And he not only by the numbers of him. The forward left the action of the night when in the second quarter he inflicted a harsh punishment on his former teammate and friend Kevin Love, who he left on the ground with a beastly poster.
The forward joked later in the press room about the action and commented that he hopes that mate does not leave him off Love’s wedding guest list: “I hope he keeps inviting me. When I cut to the rim and saw it, I thought, ‘No, Kevin, please get out of there, I don’t want to do this.’ I didn’t mean to.”
At 37 years old and back home in Cleveland, the Angelina star destroyed the Cavaliers (120-131) and added a triple-double of 38 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. The purple and gold men made 56.4% of their shots and close their four-game tour with a decent 2-2 and, above all, with renewed energy after a vibrant game.
