Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, congratulated the women on International Women’s Day, in the organization’s six official languages.
Nebenzia published a video clip on the page of the permanent Russian mission to the United Nations, on “Facebook”, in which he congratulated the woman on the occasion of March 8, in which he also spoke in Arabic, wishing women happiness and success, and also spoke in Russian, English, Chinese, French and Spanish.
Nebenzia stressed that ensuring women’s rights is a priority for Russia, and that Moscow is working to defend these rights at the United Nations.
Speaking to the women of the world on their Eid, the permanent delegate added: “Inspired by your beauty, wisdom and love, we wish success and new achievements. We dedicate our victories to you.”
