In continuation of its efforts to support the state’s response to the emerging corona virus pandemic, the Nestlé Water Company announced cooperation with the Ministry of Health to vaccinate all residents of the villages of Kafr Al-Arba’een and Jamjara in Qalyubia governorate who are over 18 years old to receive the Covid-19 vaccine to prevent infection with the virus, as well as to prevent risks or complications in the event of infection. The incidence of it, especially for the elderly and those with chronic diseases, comes as part of Nestlé Water Egypt’s continuous commitment to support the communities in which it operates, and also within the initiatives launched by the state in this context, the most important of which during the current period is the initiative for a decent life.
The Nestlé Water Company has committed to providing all aspects of support to preserve the health of citizens from the beginning of the outbreak of the Corona virus, including the cooperation of Nestlé Water with the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity and the Governor of Qalyubia to support the community in which it operates by raising awareness among the villagers about the Corona virus pandemic and taking the necessary precautions to preserve them .
In March 2020, the Nestlé Water Company distributed a personal care kit that included gloves, alcohol, soap and an awareness brochure against the disease for 20,000 people over the age of 18, in addition to distributing Ramadan cartons with food supplies to 1,000 families who lost their jobs during Covid-19 and donating 400,000 bottles of water. for quarantine hospitals.
Rassem Dabbas, Executive Director of Business for Nestlé Water Egypt, said that the company is keen to cooperate with the Ministry of Health to vaccinate all residents of the villages of Kafr Al-Arbaeen and Jamjara in Qalyubia Governorate with the Corona virus, with the aim of enhancing awareness of the importance and benefits of receiving the vaccine to protect them from infection with the virus, noting that this is not the first time.
