Netanyahu told reporters at the Sheba Medical Center that he gave the doctors a “firm hand and an outstretched arm,” a phrase used in the Bible’s book of Exodus, referring to God’s power.
He added, “This is a small needle prick for a man, and a giant leap for the sake of all our health,” a phrase similar to what Armstrong said after he landed on the moon (this is a small step for humans, but a giant leap for humanity).
On Saturday, Israel launched a vaccination campaign to prevent Corona virus, after shipments of the “Pfizer” vaccine began arriving early last week.
Israel has recorded 372,401 cases of the disease so far and 3070 deaths, and it has imposed general isolation measures for two times and may soon impose restrictions on the areas where the infections increase.
