Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed a map showing a “separate desert”, while speaking in a video clip of a call he had with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI.
While talking about relations between Morocco and Israel, Netanyahu put behind him a map that shows the Sahara separate from the rest of the Moroccan territories.
In the video, Netanyahu said that he spoke on Friday with the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, pointing out that the two sides agreed, “that the Moroccan delegation would come at the beginning of the week to push forward, open offices and push forward the process of opening embassies.”
He added, “The call was intimate and took place in my weak Arabic, Hebrew, the king’s very excellent French language, and also in English on my part.”
