The Israeli government on Friday called on residents to reconsider traveling abroad, and to avoid displaying Israeli and Jewish symbols while traveling.
The National Security Command of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said – in a joint statement – that they call for increased precautions when traveling abroad.

She continued, “The National Security Headquarters calls for consideration of the necessity of traveling abroad these days.” It recommended “postponing travel to countries that have travel warnings, with a focus on the Arab countries, the Middle East, the North Caucasus, and the countries surrounding Iran.”
Avoid protests
The National Security Command called for checking the status of protests and manifestations of violence against Israel in the chosen destination, even in countries that do not have a travel warning. She urged avoiding highlighting Israeli and Jewish symbols.
She called for staying away from demonstrations and protests, remaining alert while staying at the destination, and paying attention to what is happening around it.
