The director of the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, Muhammad Abu Salamiya, confirmed to reporters that the Israeli raids targeted ambulances while they were transporting wounded people to the Rafah crossing to transfer them for treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
This bombing led to the death of a number of Palestinians and the injury of dozens.

New bombing of hospitals
In clear disregard for international and humanitarian laws, Israeli warplanes targeted a number of hospitals in the Gaza Strip yesterday, Thursday and early Friday, including Al-Shifa Complex and Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital for Children.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that a fire had broken out inside Al-Rantisi Hospital for Children following the Israeli bombing that targeted it, according to what Al-Aqsa Channel reported via Telegram.
The channel indicated that large fires broke out in the hospital’s basement and a number of its facilities.
She pointed out that the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City was targeted again by Israeli bombing, noting that the Israeli army intensively bombarded the vicinity of the hospital with artillery.
