Yesterday, Saturday, Al-Sisi confirmed, during a telephone interview with the journalist Amr Adib, on the program “The Story” via “MBC Egypt”, Egypt’s support for the new executive authority in Libya, whose formation he considered a “step in the right direction.”
He added that the Egyptian move in the Libyan file aims to “achieve stability in this brother country,” recalling his statements last June regarding Al-Jafra and Sirte.
On Friday, the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum elected Muhammad Al-Manafi as Chairman of the Presidential Council, which consists of Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi as members, and the Forum also elected Abdel Hamid Dabaiba as the head of government in the new unified executive authority that will manage the country’s affairs during the next transitional phase until general elections are held. .
