New York Knicks acquire Josh Hart from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Cam Reddish, other players and picks… as news stuns Hart’s college teammate Jalen Brunson
Just hours before the NBA trade deadline arrives, the New York Knicks made a major move to acquire Portland Trail Blazers swingman Josh Hart.
Hart is moving to the Knicks in exchange for a 2023 protected first-round pick and small forward Cam Reddish, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Guards Ryan Acidiacono and Svi Mykhailiuk – who both have played less than 15 games this season – were also included in part of the deal.
Woj’s report also says that if the first-round pick isn’t conveyed this year, the Trail Blazers would receive four future second-round picks.
The Maryland-native Hart joins the Knicks after averaging 9.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in Portland.
