New York State Council President Carl Hasty announced that he has authorized his Judicial Committee to initiate an “impeachment investigation” into allegations of sexual misconduct by 6 women against New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Hasty said the commission’s investigation, which will run parallel to an investigation led by State Attorney General Letitia James, will include interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents and assessing evidence.

He added, “The news of the accusations against the governor of New York is dangerous.”
Andrea Stewart Cousins and Carl Hasty, the two biggest Democrats in the New York state legislature, withdrew their support for Gov. Andrew Como.
This came after allegations accusing Cuomo of “sexual harassment” and intentionally “reducing the number of deaths caused by the Corona virus in nursing homes.”
Cuomo, 63, denied the accusations made by women, most of them former assistants, the last of which was an unnamed assistant, who told The Times-Union that Cuomo touched her in the Executive Mansion last year after he called her on the pretext of work.
